jersey shore part 2

So we're off to the jersey shore once again.  but this time we are going to bay head, nj to my cousin's beach home.  we did this trip last year and it was a blast.  my cousin, amy and her husband, john are such amazing hosts.  and when they asked us to come again, we couldn't say no.  good food and drinks, fun for the kids, quaint seaside town, totally cute, preppy boutique shopping, good laughs and of course, the beach!  it was a no-brainer to go back! 

ahhh, ocean breeze, sand in your toes... life just doesn't get much better than this...

addison and julia are about 1 1/2 yrs apart, but they get along great!  actually, the way they play and interact with each other reminds me very much of how my sister and i were with jeannie and amy (my cousins) when we were young.  they were giddy and deliriously laughing at the most silly things.  it was totally cute!

oh, the ipad...  i tried not to bust it out, but we had a couple of rainy days so we were stuck indoors.  it occupied the kids for a while.  God love technology. 

wow, did i actually get all four kids standing up straight and looking at the camera??!!

*sigh... younger siblings... always trying to go against the grain...

of course, it's my kids who are the ones making the strange, goofy faces!

jimmy with this awesome sand house (that he didn't make!)  look at him trying to take credit!  shame shame.

inspired by the sand house, here are the girls hard at work trying to make their own sand castles. 

addison's is actually okay, ellie's is more like a big mound.  heheh

john and amy with the chun kids (minus their parents, jeannie and jonathan) and us... GOOD TIMES!!
