jersey shore part 1 and ellie's birthday!

we went on a group trip with our friends and their kids to atlantic city, nj.  i was looking forward to this, but i admit i was a little nervous.  4-5 famlies under one roof... that means about 8 children under the age of 6!  i was bracing myself for the chaos.  but it ended up being such a great time!  we don't get together much anymore since having children.  but all the kids got along so well and the house was spacious enough and just being with old friends again was awesome!  we had the best time!

the grown-ups were able to go out to a late dinner one night... thanks to our friend's teenage kids agreeing to babysit.  how very brave of them?!!  it was so fun to hang with our friends again!

 

we went to the boardwalk in ocean city, nj.  the perfect place for kids... water park, kiddie rides, amazing pizza and best of all, funnel cake!

ellie is not too sure of this ride.  still traumatized from the kiddie roller coaster in michigan. 


 this would be dylan and addison in the front.  and spencer and tommy in the back.  how cute are they??! happy times.

 she said, "daddy's like Sandy the horse!"  It's the coin-operated horse ride at our local grocery store.  haha!

 

this is what the kids did a good portion of the weekend while at the house...ipad was in constant use.  :( look the grown-ups are no better!  darn technology.

 and we celebrated ellie's 3rd birthday there.  :)  she was very happy to finally be turning 3!
