teddy bear picnic

we went to this teddy bear picnic yesterday at the park. you were to bring a picnic lunch, a blanket and your teddy bear. they had some arts and craft project tables, they did storytime, and we did a parade with our teddies. and then afterwards, the kids played on the playground. it was a cute little event. i'm trying to get in all kinds of fun little activities with addison before the baby comes.... you know, just some her and me time... knowing that it will not be long before we add another to our brood. forgot to bring my real camera, but good thing for my trusty cell phone camera! we brought "mr. bear" to our picnic with us. real original name, i know!

isn't it funny how kids have the most cutest natural expressions.... but when i ask addison to give me a "pretty" smile for the camera... this is what she does...

31 weeks

so, i'm 31 weeks along into my pregnancy now. and i'm really starting to feel it. the heaviness is setting in. walking is becoming tiring and super slow. the urgency to pee is constant. and i'm starting to get tired more. but it's all good. i still feel the best during the first half of the day. so i am the most productive then. we decided to spend a little extra and do one of those 3d/4d ultrasounds. i was hoping to get a good glimpse of the baby and see who she might look like. will she look like addison who right now looks a lot like jimmy? or will this one look a little more like me? i know we'll know soon enough... but any chance to see her, i'll do it! :)

i was a little disappointed in the outcome of the pictures and i don't know if they're worth doing. you can't really tell who she looks like. but i do see some major chubby cheeks.... and perhaps my flat nose. :) oh and we did find out that she is 4 lbs. and 7 oz. right now. dang, that's BIG!
