ellie's 1st swim class!

addison is having such a blast with swim classes and ellie is now familiar with the whole routine of going to classes. and she would always ask, "when do i get to go in the water??" i kept saying we'll start your classes when you get older. but then i was thinking, what the heck?... why not get her used to the water early on? so we enrolled her too! :)



here is a clip from her first class... she did great! she wasn't scared at all. thank goodness! you'll have to excuse my annoying voice on the video again! :P

Easter and Spring Break

Happy Easter! We had a nice, quiet holiday. Addison was on spring break from school so the girls and I tried to keep busy and do some different stuff during the week... checked out some new play places, got lots of ice cream, went to the mall, played a lot at the park, etc.

We met up with addison's old preschool friend, Olivia at the children's Hands-on museum one day. the girls were so happy to be reunited. I wish i got a photo of them together. oh well. here is addison concentrating on the giant bubble thing.

and here is addison's latest swim video! she loves swim class.. it is the highlight of her week.


And we couldn't go without taking our annual photo with the Easter bunny. Ellie, like many young children, got a bit scared of the bunny... okay, a lot scared. Hehe, I had to post the classic crying photo. Sorry, Ellie for putting you through it! :)





ellie was feeling much better after it was over especially since she got free bunny ears and a piece of chocolate. chocolate makes everything better! :)

the egg hunt we went to. it was a madhouse after they said "go!". it was totally nutty and i thought ellie was going to get trampled! even some of the parents were pushy...trying to get eggs for their kids... did not like that at all!



there she goes! she got off to a good start, but then got quickly swallowed by the crowd.



she managed to collect about 4 or 5. :)












they had face painting there... what a horrible face painting job! i could have done it better in my sleep! oh well, it was free and the girls liked it. and that's all that matters. :)



"please tell me the easter bunny is not here..."





and we spent easter sunday at their halmoni's church and house. nice relaxing afternoon watching golf and hanging out.


after much convincing and tossing and turning, ellie finally took a nap in daddy's old bed! she looked so cute, i couldn't resist taking a picture.
