my girl's growing up

i was telling someone recently that i really do think that addison's age right now at this moment (age 3) is my favorite age. she is so communicative and expressive and so honest and pure. she says things from the heart. i look at her now and think to myself, "wow, she is really growing up!" and it's hard for me to believe that this is the same little tiny baby from not that long ago.






it must be all this valentine's day talk that they've been talking at school. but just this past week, she said out of the blue, "mommy, you make my heart happy." i melted. :)

i am so glad to be where we are with addison... and where i am in my role as being a mother. because as we prepare for baby#2 (i'm about 14 weeks along), i realize that i don't think i would have been ready a year ago to be pregnant. thank goodness we waited until we were all ready.

i've been lagging on new pictures lately. the weather has been so yucky and it's just no fun to take pictures when it's too cold outside. but i will try and get going with some new ones. :)
