we spent a wonderful weekend with my cousins amy and jeannie and their husbands at amy's beach home in bay head, nj. no fist pumping or guidos or anyone named The Situation in this jersey town! bay head is a beautiful, quaint seaside town... it's quiet and charming... it has beautiful homes and it's completely family friendly. we had a blast! the weekend was a perfect combo of relaxation and activities for us. we went to the beach with the kids, my cousin jeannie and i managed to get away and do some beach yoga, we went for bike rides, did some shopping. and we had so much good food!! amy and john prepared great bbq dinners for us and we experienced some great restaurants down there as well. addison and jeannie's oldest daughter, julia played so well together too so they were busy playing "tea party" most of the weekend. despite a couple of "accidents" by the kids, it was the perfect beach getaway! :) amy and john were amazing hosts... we couldn't have asked for better accomodations and food and company! ahhh, i miss it already!
