ellie seems to be changing and growing a lot these days. i'm feeling like she isn't so much like a baby anymore. her actions, her words, her humor are all evolving. i really feel her baby days are slowing slipping away as every day i am noticing something new that she is doing. it really makes this time fun for me. she now wants to sit at the kitchen table, like addison and color by herself. she likes to take any stool that we have and carry it around to climb and get better views of things. she understands so much of what i say whether i'm talking to her directly or whether she overhears something that i'm saying to someone else. she know how to clean up. she knows to put trash in the garbage. she knows where we are when we're driving (like addison's lessons or school). she's singing and talking and knows what objects are. she expresses when she wants something.... like turn on the tv or open the pantry, etc. and her relationship with addison is growing and becoming more fun for the both of them... and me... which makes me really happy. :)
addison is brushing her teeth and ellie insists on standing there next to her to "wash her hands". like my 70's hipstamatic effect??... love this iphone app!
brought the stool from the bathroom to see what's going on on the counter.
and before the sesame street live show that we went to this weekend. it was ellie's first show. both were excited. :)
