thanksgiving 2009

our thanksgiving this year was a quiet one... but still very nice!! my family stayed in st. louis and jimmy's family was in still in korea. so it was just the four of us. i did a 5k run...the Detroit Turkey Trot... in the morning. it was my first run since a year ago when i got pregnant. it was fun, but i was not used to running in the cold.. it was hard on my lungs. but i finished in about 35 minutes.. not as good as last year, but it felt good so i'll take it! then on the way home, i picked up our pre-made turkey (made it easy on myself this year!). started cooking as soon as i walked in the door... turkey took an hour, stuffing and other sides took about the same, pumpkin pie was made the night before. so by 12:30-1pm, i plated everyone up and we dug in!!
