i love seeing monkeys clean each other.. it just cracks me up for some reason!
it's so endearing and funny all at the same time.
she's really into "posing" for the camera these days...
pretending to be a rhino
just being silly
on the train
ahhh, that was a good time!
and then later on in the day (after a good nap, of course!), we went to this little event that we signed up for called "pee wee olympics" through our local park/community. it's just a little hour long event for ages 2-5. they had different games and a trike/bike course and snacks. and the playground was right there so naturally we hit that up too!

"yay! pee wee olympics!.. wait, what are olympics???"
"i must pose again!"

the bike course... she was all over the place.. didn't quite get that you're supposed to stay within the cones. :)
the "m 'n m on the spoon" race
keep it steady, girl!! don't drop any!!
and the prize was eating all the ones you kept on the spoon!
she enjoyed that thoroughly!
the paper plate discus throw
"hmmm, that didn't go very far."
the 10m toddler trot..
starting with a bunny hop for the first leg.
next, the bear crawl for the second leg
and then finishing off the third leg with a sprint!
look she's going so fast, the shot is blurry! :)
"eat my dust, kid!"
and then collect your reward...
a plastic beaded necklace! hehe
miniature golf
"must get ball through the penguin's legs!"
daddy trying to help with her form
"whew, this is hard!"
and in the bike parade... pee wee olympics was fun until daddy pinched my neck by putting my helmet on! :*( see my tear stained cheek!
"God bless America!"

ahrim, these events were through RARA. and were held at Rochester Park. isabella will be doing all these things in no time!
Whew, the pee-wee olympics look really tiring. looks like she did great! I can't believe you were able to endure such an activity packed day at 9 months. your ankles must have been swollen! I know mine would have been!
